How we make events a safe experience


In Switzerland, the organisation of indoor exhibitions is prohibited for an indefinite period. When larger events will be possible again, the MCH Group will be able to offer responsible and safe concepts.

Ready for successful and safe events

The MCH Group has drawn up and tested a comprehensive protection concept and implemented it at various events. It will thus be prepared to organise safe events when larger events are again possible. Of course, we hope that this will soon be the case again.

At the beginning of July 2020, the MCH Group, together with various partners and around 600 guests, tested the various measures in a real showroom – registration in the run-up to the event, admission control on site, the construction and experience of exhibition and information stands and a visit to the catering area. Safely and efficiently through the event with digital support

To ensure you can safely take part in live events and still get the most out of your participation as a visitor or your presence as an exhibitor, we are currently expanding our digital offer and adjust it to the conditions during the COVID-19 period.

Particularly in the event sector, a combined use of the physical and digital channels has the potential to create an even better overall experience

The extensions, which are currently being implemented and will be available soon, cover the areas of ticketing, digital event participation as well as preparation and follow-up of the event. Due to the restrictions it is especially important to control visitor flows.

Therefore, when buying tickets for larger live events, visitors have to choose a time slot at which they want to attend the event. This avoids large crowds and at the same time minimizes unpleasant waiting times. As an exhibitor, you have the advantage that your staff on site is more evenly utilized allowing you to reach a large number of potential customers despite the restrictions in force.

Some parts of the program of a live event may be tied to specific times. To ensure that the largest possible number of visitors can still benefit from the offer, we can make such content available to all visitors in the form of video recordings or streaming – regardless of whether they are on site or not.

In order to give visitors the opportunity to get the most out of the live event and digital offers, they are given the opportunity to put together their own agenda before the visit, which includes both digital and live offers, to ensure they don’t miss anything. They will also have the opportunity to make appointments with individual exhibitors in advance of the visit.
