A Long-Term Partnership Moving Sustainability Forward: MCH and Weberfloors

Meaningful progress often unfolds over many years, built through trusted collaboration. The long-standing collaboration between MCH Group and Weberfloors is one of them. Shaped by shared learning and a joint ambition to improve how exhibition carpets are sourced and used across our events.

This partnership has created opportunities to test new ideas, refine materials and explore alternatives that reduce environmental impact. A key milestone in 2025 was the introduction of simplified CO₂ reporting, with Weberfloors now providing transparent emissions data for all carpet used at our events. This step gives our teams and exhibitors a clearer understanding of the footprint behind their choices and supports more confident, emission-conscious decision-making.

As Patrick Weber, owner of Weberfloors, explains:

“Providing CO₂ data is only the beginning. When people understand the footprint of the materials they use, they are far more empowered to test alternatives and rethink what is possible.”

With this foundation in place, we are looking ahead, committed to identifying further improvements, testing new solutions and advancing sustainable practices together across the exhibition landscape.
