Art Basel unveils line-up of 291 galleries and first highlights for its 2025 flagship show in Basel
Art Basel is set to return in June 2025 with an expanded vision that reinforces its strong commitment to Basel while introducing innovative new sectors and immersive public art experiences. This year's edition will showcase 291 leading galleries from 42 countries, solidifying its status as the premier global art fair. Art Basel will take place from June 19 to 22, 2025, with Preview Days on June 17 and 18.
New Additions and Highlights
This year’s edition welcomes 18 first-time exhibitors from across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, expanding the fair’s international reach and bringing fresh voices to the global stage. The newly introduced Premiere sector offers galleries an exclusive stage to showcase bold, cutting-edge works from the past five years by up to three exceptional artists.

Art Basel continues its mission to extend art beyond the fairgrounds and into the city with large-scale public installations. Renowned artist Katharina Grosse will transform Messeplatz with an expansive, colorful intervention, creating an immersive visual experience.
