Swissbau – Embracing Diversity and Inclusion

Our events offer important platforms for the exchange of knowledge and perspectives. We are aware that a balanced gender distribution plays a decisive role and are continuously committed to bringing more female experts onto our stages. Swissbau is no exception.
In the construction and real estate industry, which is traditionally heavily male-dominated, there are specific challenges that Swissbau does not ignore. They see it as their responsibility to specifically promote women and increase their visibility without devaluing existing structures. The SIA Women's Network, a network that has been supporting and promoting women in engineering and architecture for over 20 years, was particularly highlighted at Swissbau in 2024. Successful female architects and engineers were involved in panel discussions to share their expertise. In addition, Swissbau takes care to ensure a balanced representation of both genders in all its communications.
This commitment is part of an ongoing process in which we are working at all our events to constantly strengthen gender diversity in our events.
