New Storage System for Reusable Building Elements at MC² Europe
In 2024, MC² Europe introduced a new storage system for reusable building elements to better support sustainable customer projects while simultaneously reducing waste. This initiative marks another step towards sustainability as well as smarter organization.
Back in 2023, MC² Europe implemented a flexible and sustainable wall frame system for all temporary structures. Designed for multiple reuse, this system significantly reduces wood waste. Its innovative, modular design allows for customization with wooden panels, glass, or fabric banners, while also providing full creative freedom—curves and corners are no challenge. Moreover, it is cost-effective, combining efficiency with high-quality design. The system's stability has been tested and certified. With a wall thickness of 93 mm, a grid width of 1,000 mm, and a height of up to 7,500 mm, it offers maximum flexibility. Its structural integrity has been verified, and it is certified to B1 standards, ensuring safe and long-lasting use.
Over the past two years, the company has reduced wood usage relative to revenue by 13.65%. However, as many projects were planned and executed in advance, a more meaningful assessment of this measure's success will only be possible when comparing data from 2024 and 2025.
The waste generated per square meter of construction in 2024 has not yet shown a measurable reduction. Nonetheless, MC² Europe expects quantifiable positive effects when comparing 2024 and 2025 figures.
