Government of the Canton of Basel-Stadt Appoints Prof. Dr. Michèle F. Sutter-Rüdisser to the Board of Directors of MCH Group
At the upcoming General Meeting of MCH Group, Dr. Dagmar Maria Kamber Borens will step down from the Board of Directors as the delegate of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. At its meeting today, the cantonal government appointed Prof. Dr. Michèle F. Sutter-Rüdisser as her successor.
Prof. Dr. Michèle F. Sutter-Rüdisser is a titular professor of Organizational Control and Governance at the School of Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and has served as Director of the Institute for Law and Economics at HSG since 2022. She brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, finance, controlling, and auditing, and will contribute strategic insight to the Board of MCH Group.

Dr. Kamber Borens is resigning due to her assumption of expanded professional responsibilities. MCH Group extends its sincere thanks for her valuable contributions and commitment to the Board. According to the company’s shareholder structure, the Canton of Basel-Stadt is entitled to two seats on the Board of Directors of MCH Group. In addition to Prof. Dr. Sutter-Rüdisser, the canton continues to be represented by Basel-based hotel, gastronomy, and events entrepreneur Raphael Wyniger.
