False rumours about the follow-up format for Baselworld

As the MCH Group announced on 7 May, it is working intensively on possible follow-up formats for Baselworld. The project group, which also includes new and young experts, is engaged intensively on clarifying and discussing the needs and options for new platforms with the exhibitors and visitors. A decision on possible follow-up formats will be taken in the summer, and information will then be provided on the new concept, together with its scheduling and location. 

The MCH Group resolutely denies the unscrupulously circulated rumours that it is planning to stage a “Watch Week” in Lausanne. Although the concept, date and location of a potential new platform still remain to be determined, the location of Lausanne can be ruled out from the current perspective.
